Rukungiri schools Excel in PLE,

Primary schools in Rukungiri district have posted an impressive performance in Primary Leaving examinations according to the results released on Friday by The Ministry of Education and sports.

Some of the primary schools we sampled posted exellent performance.

Mugiri Frank, the director of Brian trust Nursery and primary schools said 25 candidates registered and sat the examinations, 24 candidates passed in division one while 1 passed in division two, Denilison Ayebare was the best candidate with 4 aggregates. Mugiri attributed the success of the pupil to hard work of the teachers and comprehensive revision by candidates.

Bruno Mugisha the head teacher of Nyakibale Upper primary school told our reporter that  115 candidates sat for the examination,92 passed in division one and 23 passed in division two. He attributed the candidate’s success to comprehensive revision by the candidates.

Benard Tumusangye the head teacher Kinyasano boarding primary school thanked teachers and candidates for working hard, he noted that 94 candidates sat the examinations 76 passed in division one and 18 passed in division two with the best candidates scoring 6 aggregates.

Rukungiri Universal primary school registered 50 candidates for primary leaving examinations and 48 passed in division one and 2 passed in division two.
